I’ve always fancied myself as a concierge for Ocracoke; an ambassador of sorts. After living here for almost 30 years, I feel I’m pretty good at helping people connect to the island, its experiences, and each other. The big attractions, like the lighthouse and the beach, are wonderful, but I see the small things, the quiet moments, the hidden details, the quirky and the funny stuff…. that’s what I want to share with folks. I invite you to go beyond the obvious landmarks, and find the nuances … and enjoy my postcards from the island
